LITTLE HIP SKIRTS
A simple, pull on skirt, with bias waistband that fits on the hips and has 3 different versions. Four panel, full circle skirt that is great for twirling, with option to make it double layered. ĪA line' button skirt and ten panel pleated skirt. All versions have the option of belt and belt loops.

Circle Skirt
1 yd - (sizes 1-4) or
2 1/4 yd - (sizes 5/6 to 13/14)
1 yd - 3/8" Elastic
Button Skirt
1 yd - (sizes 1-4) or
1 1/3 yd - (sizes 5/6 to 13/14)
1 yd - Elastic
5 to 7 - 1/2" Buttons
Pleated Skirt
1 yd - (sizes 1-4) or
1 1/2 yd - (sizes 5/6 to 13/14)
1/2 yd - Contrasting
1 yd - 3/8" Elastic
Optional:
1/2 yd - Belt and Loops.
3/4 yd - Additional for double circle skirt (sizes 1-4)
2 1/4 yd - Additional for double circle skirt (sizes 5/6 to 13/14)
Suitable Fabrics
We used
cotton and wool for our models. Cotton voile was used for the double
circle skirt. Corduroy, linen, rayon and soft flowing fabrics would
work as well.
